ChâteauLa Louvière

Chateau La Louviere has a rich history of more than seven centuries. Andre Lurton fell in love with it in 1965 and renovated this gem over 40 years. Its beauty led to its classification as a listed building in 1991.

Today, Chateau La Louviere’s very elegant, subtle dry white wines are ones of the great ambassadors of the Pessac-Leognan appellation. Made from the Sauvignon variety, they are remarkably long-keeping. The reds, made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, are concentrated and powerful, but charming and elegant too, and they become increasingly so as they age.
