Châteaude Saurs

Built in 1848, the chateau is located in the middle of the thousand-year-old Gaillac winegrowing area. The estate’s 46 hectares (114 acres) of vines have been tended according to organic principles since 2009, “so that we can leave living soil for our children and our children’s children”. Since the 2012 vintage, all our wines, reds, rosés, dry and sweet whites and our brandy have borne the organic label. We would be delighted to welcome you to our fully restored farm that dates back to 1666, and have your taste and get to know our wines. In this “Cellier” you can also enjoy exhibitions or visit our pigeon loft dedicated to organic agriculture and if you fancy it, have a picnic near the lavoir.
