South-West wines

Land of history and gastronomy, the South West is also full of exceptional, singular and varied wines. The heterogeneity of soils, influence of the oceanic climate, reliefs and rivers that cross the territory (Lot, Garonne, Dordogne, Gers, Tarn ...) explain the variety and the high quality of the wines produced there.

The important efforts made in recent years and decades by the winemakers in the cultivation of their vines and in the winemaking have only favored this qualitative production. For this third edition, our guide explores new vineyards: Bergerac, Duras, Cahors, Gaillac, Buzet and Fronton have been "joined" by these lands of tradition that are regions of Brulhois, Armagnac and Côtes de Gascogne.

The estate located in Neuvic s/ l’Isle, represents 20 hectares bordered by two rivers: the Isle and the Vern. That’s in this estate that Caviar de Neuvic chose to build a fish farm dedicated to sturgeon breeding to produce the famous caviar. Through unusual anecdotes and humorous comments, the state manager will explain how our modern breeding methods respect the fishes and the nature. He will reveal you the passion that drives us when we look after our sturgeons and develop caviar. You will feed the fishes and be able to touch sturgeons, with supplied equipment.
