saint-emilionnais

Between Garonne and Dordogne and between Graves and Libournais, the Entre-deux-Mers region forms a green triangle of hills and valleys. The region is rich in an important historical heritage which is declined in strongholds, castles, abbeys, churches, old residences, mills, dovecotes. The mosaic of soils and basements which make up this imposing wine region gives birth to a range of wines in constant qualitative progression: dry white wines (Entre-deux-Mers appellation) fruity with delicate aromas; red wines (Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur appellations) more or less full-bodied, but always generous and easy to drink.

Landlocked to the north of the Entre-deux-Mers appellation, on the edge of the Garonne, the Premier Côtes de Bordeaux region asserts its specificity. lt presents a more rugged landscape, whose heights, in particular, constitute a remarkable winegrowing terroir. Alongside white wines marked by a subtle combination of body and finesse and generally full-bodied and wellstructured red wines, the region also produces the famous «Clairet» (rosé wine) as well as excellent sweet wines (Loupiac, Cadillac , Sainte Croix du Mont…).
