Vineyards of Côtes de Bourg
Blaye - Côtes de Bordeaux
Thanks to the estuary and situated in front of Medoc region, the terroir of both Appellations shares its limestone, clay and sandy gravelly soils. Merlot is the main grape variety in this area and grow extremely well. Red wines are deep in colour, full-bodied, with rich flavours.
Served by the beneficial influence of the estuary and facing the Medoc region, the terroir of all appellations has a homogeneous structure, with cla, limestone and sandy gravelly soils. Merlot flourishes remarkably. Typical and delicate, red wines are colorful and full-bodied, always supple, and well accompany regional cuisine. White wines affirm their strong character (intense and powerful nose, persistence in mouth).
